Saturday is the best day of the week. It is the only day Charlie and I have off. This past Saturday Charlie and I went to Ace Hardware and bought some seed starter pots and planted some tomato and jalapeno seeds. I have never had my own garden, so I hope this one works out! We will see later in the year I guess.

Wish us luck!

Merry Christmas (a little late) and Happy New Year!

Happy new year!
I think 2014 is going to be a really good year.
And also Merry Christmas, a little bit late. We had a really good Christmas, even though we had to work all day. Right after work we went straight to Enterprise so we could be there when Charlie's brother called from his mission. We hung out with  Charlie's family there and I called my dear family on the telephone.
Charlie's favorite gift... clothes! (not really, but it's ok)
I asked for a new lens for my camera this year. I didn't think I would really get it, but Charlie surprised me! He wrapped it in a million bags and then put it in a big box. It was a lot of fun to open.
We also got that new TV that's behind me. It's the big TV on top of the small TV. We like to keep things classy. ;)
And here is us, happy as clams (where did that even come from?) on Christmas morning. Excuse my tired face, I was sick, but Charlie looks handsome as ever!

LOVE YOU ALL!!! Hope your Christmas and new year was fantastic!

Our Christmas Tree

We went out and chopped down our own tree. Well... Charlie chopped it down and I cheered. It looked soo good out in the wilderness, perfect size, perfect shape. Then when we got it home it still looked really good, but it is just really big! It takes up alot of our living room. I love it though, I love Christmas.

Snow Day

It snowed. In St. George. A LOT!! It's a Christmas miracle.

That is all.

Happy Thankgiving

I am pretty much done with school this semester. I have my assignments done and waiting to be turned in after thanksgiving break. My last photography assignment was a photo essay. My photo essay was call "The Life of a Dairy Cow."

Here are just a few of my favorites.

Cows are cute.

Other then school and work, not much has been going on. Charlie and I already decorated for Christmas. We don't have everything up yet, but it's getting there. We have decided to go all out this year. We already have two fake trees up! We are planning on putting up a third in our bedroom and we also want to get a real tree! Our lights aren't up yet, but we do have lots of garland hanging from the windows and I have replaced almost every regular decoration with a Christmas-y decoration. Our house is pretty much a Christmas wonderland!

Tomorrow we are heading to northern Utah to visit my mom and dad and some other family for Thanksgiving. It will be a lot of fun. I have a lot to be thankful for this year.

Snow Already?

That's right. It snowed. Snow in southern Utah! But not St. George, thank goodness and not very much snow either. We went hunting in the mountains for Charlie's birthday. He had a muzzleloader tag, and unfortunately we didn't get anything. We saw plenty of wildlife though. We saw a few Buck, but they were too far away to take a shot. We also saw a few elk and one was bugling. I had never heard an elk bugle before. We also got pretty close to some wild mustang. They were beautiful. I wish I would have got some pictures of all of the animals we saw, but I didn't feel like carrying around my camera on the tops of mountains.
This is about all the snow we got, then it melted.

 Nice warm fire.
 But it was FREEZING outside!

Happy Birthday Charlie!

We have a Birthday boy in the house!! We are going camping to celebrate. Woo hoo!

My husband is soooo cool.

(I kind of wrapped Charlie's presents like they are meant for a little girl... let's just pretend that pink bow is blue, kay? Okay.)

Happy Birthday Charlie!!
